R. L. Kathren served as the Co-Director and instructor for the Third Summer School on Environmental Radiation Monitoring Techniques, held at the Ukrainian Radiation Training Center in Kiev, Ukraine.

D. B. Stuit presented the USTUR Radiochemistry Project intercomparison data at the Joint USTUR-DRMIA Conference in Ozersk, Russia.

September 1997

R. H. Filby presented a seminar on the USTUR Radiochemistry Project at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.

R. L. Kathren presented a general discussion of the USTUR Program at the 1997 Rocky Flats Advisory Committee Meeting about the USTUR including ways in which the Registries can provide support to and enhancement of long-term worker follow-up studies in Golden, Colorado.
