USTUR Policies and Procedures Manual
The following Policies and Procedures Manual is for the use of the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries
Explanation
This manual contains policies and procedures applicable to the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries (USTUR). These supplement but do not supersede the policies of Washington State University and the College of Pharmacy. As used herein, policies are generic statements describing the conduct of operations and are prefaced by the letter P. Procedures, prefaced by the letter R, are detailed statements which prescribe the accomplishment of a particular task. Forms used for collection or distribution of specific in-formation are included in this manual and prefaced with the letter F.
Distribution
USTUR manuals are controlled and numbered documents assigned to specific individuals. Assignees are responsible for updating their respective manuals. Manuals remain the property of the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries and may not be transferred without written authorization. All manuals must be returned to the Registries upon request.

This manual is also available online on the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries World Wide Web homepage at http://www.ustur.wsu.edu by selecting "Policies and Procedures".
Annual Review
This manual will undergo an annual review and be re-viewed and revised as needed. Any changes and additions of the procedures, policies and forms will be approved by the Director of the Registries before being implemented.
Supersession
This manual revision supersedes the March 2001 edition of the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries Policies and Procedures Manual.
