Chelation, wound excision, and wound irrigation data are displayed in the treatment tab. Chelation entries from this tab are used to check (or uncheck) the Chelation checkboxes in the In Vitro tab.

Field Descriptions

Treatment

'Treatment' indicates what type of treatment was administered to the registrant (e.g. chelation, wound excision, wound irrigation).

Chelating Agent

'Chelating Agent' stores the specific chelating agent that was administered to the registrant.

Modality

'Modality' indicates how a chelating agent was administered (e.g. orally, i.v., etc.).

Date/Time

'Date/Time' stores the date and time that the chelating agent was administered or that the wound was excised or irrigated.

Dosage

'Dosage' stores the mass of a chelating agent that was administered as it is reported in the hard file (using the dame unit as in the hard file).

Dosage Unit

'Dosage Unit' stores the unit used in the hard file to report the mass of a chelating agent that was administered.

Activity Removed

'Activity Removed' stores the activity removed during wound excision as it is reported in the hard file (using the same unit as in the hard file).

Activity Unit

'Activity Unit' stores the unit used in the hard file to report the activity removed during wound excision.

Derived Values: Dosage

'Derived Values: Dosage' stores the standardized dosage, which is calculated by converting the reported dosage into the standardized dosage unit, g.

Derived Values: Activity Removed

'Derived Values: Activity Removed' stores the standardized activity removed during wound excision, which is calculated by converting the reported activity removed into the standardized activity unit, pCi.

Comments

Comments' provides additional information about the treatment.

Source

'Source' contains the source of treatment data – document name and date – in order to expedite access to original hard file documents.

Initials

The 'Initials' field stores the initials of the person who added the treatment record to the database.

Entry Date

The 'Entry Date' field stores the date that the treatment record was added to the database.
